Monologue and Improv Classes Start August 14!

Registration is now open for our Fall Theatre Session at Centerstage Dramatics, designed specifically for young performers ages 7–14. Starting August 14, this hands-on workshop gives kids and young teens the exact tools they need to shine on stage, sharpen their acting skills, and build self-assurance that carries far beyond the footlights.

Monologue Mastery & Personalized Coaching

Finding the right piece and making it compelling is an essential skill for any growing actor. In this session, each student gets to select a monologue from a favorite character or story. Through dedicated, one-on-one direction, our instructors will guide them step-by-step through:

  • Character Crafting: Learning how to think, walk, and speak like their character to build a believable, grounded performance.
  • Tailored Feedback: Giving every child individual attention suited to their personal skill level, whether they are stepping onto the stage for the first time or preparing for their next big audition.
  • Stage Presence: Helping them master vocal projection, body language, and focus under pressure.

High-Energy Improv & Teamwork

Acting is as much about reacting as it is about memorizing lines. Alongside individual monologue work, every class features interactive improv games. These activities teach kids to think on their feet, trust their creative instincts, and build strong connections with their peers in a warm, encouraging environment.

Graduation Showcase

The class sessions will conclude on Friday, October 9 with a Showcase of Talent for friends and family.
